Five years earlier, a tragedy occurred while Sarah Russell was babysitting at the neighbors' house. Despite leaving for college and trying to forget the past, Sarah has yet to fully forgive herself. As she waits to hear back from Northwestern Medical School, she receives some unsettling news that she knows she should share with her family. After facing her fears and returning home, Sarah receives support from unexpected sources, paving the way towards forgiveness and hope.
